Our client is seeking experienced Commissioning Engineers to support a major offshore gas treatment project, covering pre-commissioning activities onshore followed by final commissioning and start-up offshore on an FPSO. The scope covers multiple process packages (including gas treatment / MEG-TEG systems), requiring close coordination across several equipment vendors and disciplines.
Job Description
- Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities on electrical and instrumentation systems supporting gas treatment process packages.
- Carry out loop testing, calibration, energization support, and functional verification of instrumentation and control systems.
- Work closely with vendors, package engineers, and other disciplines (Mechanical, Piping) to ensure coordinated system readiness.
- Support punch list management and close-out of ITRs (Inspection Test Records) for E&I scope.
- Participate in HSSE activities, Task Risk Assessments (TRA) and Permit to Work (PTW) processes.
- Interface with the client's site team and support a smooth handover from construction to commissioning and operations.
- Contribute to the onshore pre-commissioning phase before mobilizing offshore for final commissioning and start-up on the FPSO.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent (strict requirement).
- Proven hands-on experience in E&I commissioning on oil & gas / offshore projects.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team across several process packages.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to work onshore initially, then mobilize offshore (FPSO) for the commissioning/start-up phase.
- Previous experience with gas treatment systems (MEG/TEG, coalescers, sulfate removal units or similar).
- Valid offshore safety certification (BOSIET) or willingness to obtain prior to offshore mobilization.
- FPSO project experience.
Additional Information
Location: Turkey (onshore pre-commissioning, followed by offshore commissioning on FPSO)
Contract Duration: 6 to 9 months (initial assignment)
Start Date: Mid-October 2026
Working Schedule : Rotations 4x4
