What you'll do

You’ll collaborate primarily with Traders, Sales, Quants, Technologists and Risk functions to improve the performance of the eFX business across spot, forwards and NDFs to meet strategic objectives.

Additionally, you’ll be:

  • Developing a deep understanding of the linear eFX trading business and customers it supports

  • Creating analysis and MI to support customers, our business and management

  • Generating ideas and building proofs of concepts to improve automation and quality of the pricing and risk management algorithms, and their operation

  • Collaborating across multiple teams to seek opportunities to meet business objectives

  • Supporting business case creation, development, rollout and global use of linear eFX improvements

  • Meeting with customers and venues to understand their developing needs, and helping to promote the linear eFX business with Sales

  • Utilising the bank’s AI tools to improve efficiency

  • Taking steps to make sure trading activities are in line with group policies covering market, conduct, operational, credit and regulatory risks

The skills you'll need

To be successful in this role, you’ll have a proven experience in managing, analysing and optimising electronic trading to meet business objectives. We’ll expect you to have prior experience in FX spot, forward or NDF products.

We’ll also expect you to have:

  • A commercial and proactive mindset

  • Understanding of market structure, venues, execution, and customer needs

  • Understanidng of pricing and risk management algorithms and their controls

  • Experience in running or optimising automated trading

  • The ability to solve complex problems, build analytics and explain them succinctly

  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
