About this role

Job Description Summary:

Aviagen is seeking a candidate to fill an Egg Depot Associate position. This role is responsible for verifying delivery counts, entering data into computer systems, processing order paperwork, and maintaining strict biosecurity and cleanliness standards

Job Description:

  • Verify egg counts picked up from farms and enter them into the computer system.
  • Perform and maintain all paperwork associated with customer orders.
  • Pull together eggs for customer orders and prepare eggs for shipping, ensuring the orders are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Communicate with drivers regarding egg pickups.
  • Maintain open communications with management, hatchery personnel, and production planning.
  • Responsible for maintaining correct physical inventory.
  • Operate a pallet jack
  • Follow all safety, biosecurity, and animal welfare policies 

Qualifications 

  • Minimum 18 years of age 
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, honesty, and professionalism 
  • All other duties as assigned
