About this role
Responsibilities:
- Prepares and performs Electrical Design review.
- Ship electrical system design - Electrical Load Analysis, Electrical Single Line diagrams
- Short Circuit calculation, voltage drop calculations, Circuit breaker selection
- Electrical equipment selection, BOM.
- Electrical cable schedule, Cable tray layout, MCT design, cable route preparation, termination diagram, lighting calculations and layouts
- Instrumentation and automation Solutions
- Responds to client technical queries, Attending the meetings,
- Vendor Document study, Classification standard applicability knowledge ACAD project management, Project scheduling, client interaction, site visit (client office, ship, etc)
- Assists site supervision team in technical queries.
Qualification:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical) or Diploma / Degree in Marine Electrical system is preferred, ACAD
Desired Profile of the candidate:
- Candidates having experience in shipyard or design office of marine/offshore consulting engineering companies will be ideal.
- Familiar with ETAP Knowledge.
- Good knowledge of ship design practice, class rule requirement, general practice/codes of marine & offshore is desired.
- Good communication skills are essential.
- Basic understanding of ISO standards is preferred.
