Responsibilities: Electrical Maintenance and Repairs: Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, switches, circuits, and electrical panels. Troubleshoot electrical problems, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions to ensure continuous system operation. Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and improve system reliability. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on electrical systems to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Stay up-to-date with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and standards in the UAE and ensure compliance in all electrical work. Installation and Upgrades: Assist in the installation of new electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment as required. Collaborate with other maintenance teams to integrate electrical systems into overall building operations. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history. Generate detailed reports on electrical system status, highlighting any issues, recommendations, or improvements needed. Emergency Response: Participate in emergency response teams to address electrical issues promptly and effectively. Be available for on-call duty as necessary to address urgent electrical problems. Collaboration: Coordinate with other maintenance technicians, engineers, and supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient facility operations. Communicate effectively with team members and management to report progress and discuss potential issues. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and recommend upgrades or modifications to electrical systems. Stay informed about new technologies, tools, and techniques in the electrical field to enhance work quality and efficiency. Requirements ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering Proven experience (typically 2+ years) as an Electrician, preferably in a facility management or related environment. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components. Should have min 2 years work experience in UAE - Facility/Maintenance IndustryStrong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues. Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills. Attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to delivering quality work. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
