About this role
Core Responsibilities
- Electrical & Lighting: Conduct routine maintenance on LT panels, Generator, UPS systems, and distribution boards. Repair internal house wiring, switches, and lighting fixtures. [1]
- AC & Temperature Control: Clean filters, monitor chillers, and service AC units to ensure climate control.
- Plumbing & Piping: Perform minor plumbing repairs, check water tanks, and operate pipeline pumps.
- Civil & Mechanical Maintenance: Repair minor building defects, fix doors/windows, and service rolling shutters.
- Breakdown & Preventive Maintenance (PM): Respond to emergency maintenance calls. Follow PM checklists to prevent major equipment failures.
- Logkeeping & Compliance: Document daily activity logbooks, maintain equipment history cards, and adhere strictly to site safety protocols.
Required Technical Qualifications
- Education: ITI, Diploma, or Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical.
- Experience: Typically requires 1 to 6+ years of hands-on experience in commercial, hospital, or warehouse facility management.
- Knowledge base: Blueprint reading, use of multimeters and power tools, and operation of Diesel Generators (DG).
- Soft Skills: Problem-solving, communication, and a willingness to work in rotational shifts or handle emergency on-call dutie.
