JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Troubleshooting and providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitating change-over.
Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment
Overhaul and install new equipment.
Perform facility maintenance and maintain clean and safe work area
Report on work performed and time spent to Maintenance Supervisor
Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory
Reads blueprints and schematic drawings
Work with other trades’ groups and contractors to complete project assignments
Responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of all plant utilities,
Troubleshoot and repair machinery/equipment as needed
Program/ machinery and processes within the company.
Support and work within the procedures of the maintenance management software systems to facilitate Preventative Maintenance activities, work order management, spare and replacement component purchasing.
Wire new panels for revise new and existing machinery as needed
Report on work performed and time spent to Maintenance Manager
Select, install and repair bussways, flexible and rigid conduit, cable trough, wire and communication cables
Read, interpret and revise ladder logic, distribution, mechanical architectural, fluid power, alarm system, visual equipment and instrumentation drawings
Able to work according to company and industry safety policies and regulations
Communicate effectively and professionally with all team members
Maintaining accurate records of work performed in a CMMS
Follow all company safety policies.
All other relevant duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
433A Millwright certificate an asset.
442A Electrician certificate an required
Basic electrical training and troubleshooting experience would be an asset
PLC programming experience is an asset
Knowledge of extrusion or pipe manufacturing is an asset
Prior diagnostic /troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred
Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude
Ability to work at heights
Ability to lift up to 50 Lbs.
Ability to work on weekends, other shifts and overtime
