Elementary History Teacher – 3rd-5th Grade -2026/2027 School Year

If you believe history helps us understand the present and shape the future, then a role as a History Teacher at Mastery is for you. You'll inspire students to think critically, analyze multiple perspectives, and make meaningful connections between the past and the world around them. You'll be supported every step of the way with thoughtfully designed unit plans, instructional guides, and best-in-class curriculum from TCI and The DBQ Project, allowing you to focus on what matters most—bringing history to life for your students.
From Kindergarten through 12th Grades, Mastery’s students learn history, civics, geography, and Economics:

- 5th Grade: TCI – Social Studies Alive! America’s Past
- 6th Grade: TCI – Geography Alive! Regions and People
- 7th Grade: TCI – History Alive! The World Through 1750
- 8th Grade: TCI – History Alive! The United States Through Modern Times
- High School: African American History, World History, US History, and Government/Economics (as well as have the chance to take AP classes).
At Mastery we value Continuous Improvement and want you to learn and grow in your craft. We utilize a team of Assistant Principals, central-office coaches, and school-based content teams to provide every teacher coaching and feedback. We have professional development or peer collaboration time built into our staff calendar. You will receive professional development annually and have a professional development allowance to use to further your growth.
