About this role
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot hydraulic equipment and systems.
- Repair and overhaul hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, power packs, and hydraulic actuators.
- Conduct pressure and performance testing using hydraulic test benches.
- Read and interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare inspection reports, repair reports, and service documentation.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with company and industry standards.
- Coordinate with service technician, Planning team, and suppliers regarding repair requirements.
- Maintain workshop tools, testing equipment, and inventory.
- Ensure spare parts are correctly identified and ordered when required.
- Supervise workshop technicians and provide technical guidance.
- Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Support field service activities when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–4 years of experience in hydraulic equipment repair and maintenance (depending on the position level).
- Experience working with hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and power units.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems used in marine, industrial, or oil & gas equipment.
