About this role

We are recruiting an Engineering On-Site on behalf of our client, a global EPC & O&M provider delivering turnkey utility‑scale solar power plants. This is a hands‑on, on‑site role, ideal for someone detail‑oriented who wants to grow in technical coordination and quality management within the renewable energy sector. You’ll be the technical backbone of the project — ensuring construction aligns with IFC drawings and specifications, resolving technical issues quickly, and maintaining seamless communication between design teams, construction teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management.

  • Location: Arad (Grăniceri)

  • Full-time, on-site (CIM)

  • Approx. 2-year project, with extension potential based on pipeline & performance

If you’re ready to support one of Romania’s largest solar developments and contribute to the country’s renewable energy transition, apply now — let’s see if it’s a match.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise construction works according to approved IFC drawings and technical specifications

  • Coordinate civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering activities

  • Support Procurement with technical specifications and vendor documentation

  • Participate in inspections and support QA/QC activities

  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation and prepare progress reports

  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, clients, and authorities on technical matters

Ideal Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering or similar

  • 5–7 years of experience in site engineering, construction, or EPC projects

  • Strong experience in utility-scale solar projects is a major advantage

  • Solid understanding of construction processes and multidisciplinary coordination

  • Experience with RFIs, shop drawings, technical submittals, and design review

  • Ability to interpret complex technical drawings

  • Strong knowledge of Romanian construction standards and regulations

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation systems

  • Good command of English

  • Availability to work full-time on-site (Grăniceri, Arad)
