Role Summary
We are seeking a Expansion Account Executive to lead growth and retention across a portfolio of strategic enterprise customers in the financial services vertical. This is a quota-carrying role focused on driving renewals, adoption, and ARR expansion within existing accounts.
You’ll serve as the customer’s strategic partner — aligning Skan’s value to their business priorities, building strong executive relationships, and orchestrating internal teams to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow a book of enterprise accounts, ensuring successful renewals and identifying expansion opportunities for ACV >$1m
- Develop and execute strategic account plans that map organizational structures, identify new buying centers, and outline multi-year growth strategies.
- Build and maintain senior relationships (VP and C-suite) to position Skan as a long-term strategic partner.
- Lead executive and quarterly business reviews, articulating business impact and uncovering new initiatives to expand scope.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, and Customer Success to ensure adoption and outcome delivery.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and CRM records; consistently achieve revenue and renewal targets.
- Serve as the voice of the customer, influencing product direction and service delivery priorities.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 7–10 years of enterprise sales, account management, or expansion sales experience within SaaS or data/analytics solutions OR
- 7-10 years experience within financial institutions and complimentary sales skillset
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding renewal and expansion quotas; strong understanding of ARR and NRR metrics.
- Proven track record of closing multi-million dollar deals
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders in large, matrixed organizations.
- Strong commercial and strategic acumen — able to connect technology outcomes to financial impact.
- Experience supporting or selling to financial services or insurance enterprises.
Nice-to-Have:
- Background in management consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG) or similar strategic advisory experience.
- MBA or advanced business degree.
- Experience with process intelligence, automation, or analytics platforms.
- Prior success in high-growth, fast-paced technology environments.
