Job Description Summary

The Ultrasound Enterprise Education Leader is responsible for developing, delivering and managing customer education curricula and content; as well as, collaborating across the division to develop training plans & competencies associated with product user development and comprehension. He/she will implement process improvements for ensuring customer satisfaction and productivity. This position will also be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership required for advancing the Ultrasound Education business strategy and team capabilities.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Drive teamwork and collaboration

  • Work with education team to implement education organizational goals ensuring collective goals and targets are met.

  • Remain current on educational trends and delivery models to enhance productivity and value.

  • Create, deliver, and manage course content and curriculum.

  • Collaborate with leadership and education team members to share best practices, design innovative teaching tools and delivery methods.

  • Support Ultrasound business strategy and vision

  • Identify opportunities and implement solutions to drive productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

  • Participate in the process of reviewing HCP agreements pertaining to speaker honorariums, educational grants, symposium sponsorships and on-site education.

  • Evaluate clinical trends in clinical ultrasound and incorporate accepted clinical practice into customer educational offerings to drive customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor, assess and modify customer courses/materials to maintain customer satisfaction and support education on new features, technologies, and optimization strategies.

  • Participate in the process for delivering Continuing Education credits to ensure compliance with GE HealthCare regulations.

  • Maintain clinical, technical, and product expertise to coach and develop the team

  • Provide additional clinical support for sales training, New Product Introductions, exhibits and workshops as necessary.

  • Provide leadership communications with field-based applications, commercial and technical support teams.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years industry experience related to clinical training and education, curriculum development, or other related disciplines.

  • Proficient in General Imaging Ultrasound and at least one other specialty segment pertaining to imaging, protocols, and technologies.

  • Experience with advanced imaging technology, acquisition, and manipulation

  • Active ARDMS registry

  • Strong organizational and time management skills for efficient program management

  • Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills.

  • Analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Strong PC skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Willing to travel 75% for business needs.

Desired Characteristics

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or associated field

  • Multi-specialty clinical ultrasound experience

  • Knowledge of Healthcare emerging markets and clinical needs in those markets

  • Demonstrate ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, other sales segments, and GE HealthCare functions.

  • Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization.

  • Solid problem-solving skills, analytical and creative approach in developing solution

  • Self-motivated, willingness to take initiative to identify opportunities for and take actions to improve.

  • Strong communication and clear-thinking skills with the ability to blend complex issues into simple messages.

  • Ability to multi-task effectively and manage multiple priorities at one time.

  • Proven professional business acumen and relationship building skills in a hospital/healthcare environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate, select, coach, develop and motivate talent.

  • Previous experience managing business initiatives, priorities, and financials.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $122,400.00-$183,600.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
