Entry Level Piping Design Engineer

Job Description Summary

The Product Piping Design Engineer will be responsible for the piping design within the Product Piping team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. This role requires a dynamic individual who can provide valuable inputs to the Product Definition Designer and oversee the review process of piping design packages.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and design piping systems in accordance with project specifications and standards.

• Collaborate with the Product Definition (PDE) Designer to integrate piping design inputs effectively.

• Review and validate piping design packages to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

• Work closely with the Mechanical team to ensure seamless integration of piping designs with overall project objectives.

• Coordinate with Project Engineering and Sourcing teams to facilitate efficient project execution.

• Maintain documentation and records of design processes and adjustments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Some experience in mechanical design engineering, particularly in piping systems

• Familiarity with relevant design and engineering software tools.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Piping design at basic/medium level.

• Familiar with: NX, AutoPIPE and PLM
