The Role

As an EHS Graduate, you will support the Environmental, Health and Safety team across a range of major construction and engineering projects.

You will gain hands-on experience in the implementation of health and safety systems, site inspections, risk assessments, environmental management and compliance, while working alongside experienced EHS professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the EHS team in maintaining safe systems of work.
  • Assist with site inspections and safety audits.
  • Support risk assessments and method statement reviews.
  • Assist with incident and near-miss reporting.
  • Help maintain EHS records and documentation.
  • Support toolbox talks, inductions and safety awareness initiatives.
  • Assist with environmental monitoring and compliance activities.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture across projects.
  • Work closely with site and project teams to support EHS objectives.

Requirements

  • Degree or relevant qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety or a related discipline.
  • Strong interest in health, safety and environmental management.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proactive approach and willingness to work in a construction environment.
  • A full driving licence is advantageous.
