Expressions of Interest - UNSW Scientia Program (Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Researcher) for commencement in 2027

• Employment Type: Full time or Part time. The program has flexibility for part time employment, and research breaks for participants to pursue other studies, engage with industry or to follow other interests.
• Duration: Four-year tenure track contract with the possibility of converting to a continuing position
• Eligibility: Level B (Lecturer) and C (Senior Lecturer) across any discipline. Candidates with compelling track records will be considered at levels A (Associate Lecturer) and D (Associate Professor). This is an identified position for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants only.
• Remuneration: Academic Level A – D (plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
• Location: Kensington NSW

Expressions of interest (EOIs) are due by 11.55pm on Friday 28th August 2026.  EOIs will be reviewed by the relevant Faculties for consideration, after which shortlisted candidates will be invited to submit a full application and evidence of Indigeneity. All offers of employment will be subject to prior submission of satisfactory proof of Aboriginality.
