About this role

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Contribute through planning, design, and modification of facilities assets to support the business functions within, including office spaces, laboratories, and manufacturing areas.
  • Apply engineering principles to solve real-world challenges, gaining exposure to project management, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Learn how engineering problem-solving methodology can be applied to complex problems involving infrastructure, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Participate in multiple projects at different stages such as initiation, design, planning, and execution, while working alongside experienced engineers and facility managers.
  • Be exposed to critical and complex building systems such as chilled water, heating water, hazardous exhaust, electrical distribution, specialty gases, fire protection, and building automation systems.
  • Assist in evaluating system performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing upgrades that enhance safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Support compliance efforts by helping ensure facility systems meet regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Gain valuable experience in CAD software, data analysis, and technical reporting to support engineering decisions and communicate project outcomes.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s in engineering 
  • Zero (0) years of related experience 
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at a Twin Cities location (Shakopee, Chanhassen, or Eden Prairie, MN) 
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States 

 
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Prior internship experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
