Job Summary :
Responsible for assisting the Facility Maintenance Supervisor with maintaining the proper functioning of equipment and systems, safe condition of buildings and structures, and satisfactory appearance of all sites.
Core Competencies:
- Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred
- Working knowledge of basic repair, carpentry, and A/C
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- High degree of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions effectively
- Basic automotive skills
- Good driving record
Job Requirements :
- High School Diploma or equivalent and one year experience in a similar position
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with/without reasonable accommodation. Ability to reach/extend arms in all directions; ability to hold, grasp, turn or otherwise work with hands or fingers; and ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally or frequently.
- Must maintain a clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and current car insurance. Must submit to LCDF required background check, TB screen and drug testing.
