Job Description:

Sr. Accountant 

 

Summary 

The position of Sr. Accountant will follow company accounting processes to perform and manage general accounting duties. Responsibilities may include management, training, oversight, and administration of any task related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, ticket collection, invoice reconciliation, data entry, payroll, or other administrative accounting duties. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Review, reconcile, and enter items received into accounting system.  

  • Manage and direct accountants’ duties and tasks related to department functions.  

  • Prepare reports at various intervals and frequencies showing departmental, project, or company accounting metrics.  

  • Prepare, review, and/or audit various budgets. 

  • Ensure accuracy of accounting entries and reports. 

  • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and other entities to provide information and answer questions related to accounting activities. 

 

 

Minimum Requirements 

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 

  • 5 years of experience of progressive responsibility in similar accounting positions.  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.  

  • Exposure to accounting software(s).
