How You'll Make an Impact
Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, repair, upgrade, and retrofit activities for power systems, electrical equipment, and service solutions across the Hitachi Energy portfolio.
Execute field service activities in accordance with technical procedures, contractual requirements, and customer expectations.
Provide high-quality technical support both remotely and on-site to resolve customer issues efficiently.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, control, and protection system faults and implement effective corrective actions.
Conduct preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance activities, while recommending improvements to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and lifecycle management.
Prepare accurate service reports, technical documentation, risk assessments, method statements, fault analysis reports, repair records, recommendations, and site documentation in line with company standards.
Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for service agreements, upgrades, modernization projects, digital solutions, spare parts, and refurbishment initiatives.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Project Management, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to support customer requirements and contribute to business growth.
Travel to customer sites locally and internationally, as required.
Provide timely support for critical service issues and customer escalations to help ensure the reliable operation of customer assets.
Comply with all applicable health, safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Your Background
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
3 to 5 years of experience in field service, installation, commissioning, maintenance, testing, or related engineering activities.
Experience with transformers, substations, high-voltage equipment, power quality solutions, protection and control systems, grid automation solutions, or power systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently to customer sites, often on short notice, within Egypt and potentially internationally.
