Finance Executive / Senior Finance Executive

Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive / Senior Finance Executive to manage accounting, statutory compliance, payroll, treasury operations, and financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in GST and TDS compliance, and the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth finance operations.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
    • Maintain books of accounts and day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally/ERP.
    • Record journal entries and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
    • Perform ledger scrutiny and periodic account reconciliations.
    • Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and statutory ledgers.
Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
    • Raise and process sales invoices based on approved commercial terms and business requirements.
    • Manage accounts receivable and follow up on collections.
    • Process vendor invoices and payments in a timely manner.
    • Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management
    • Handle treasury operations and vendor payment processing.
    • Prepare and maintain cash flow statements and fund position trackers.
    • Monitor daily cash balances and optimize fund utilization.
Statutory Compliance
    • Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements.
    • Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and related reconciliations.
    • Maintain compliance records and support assessments, notices, and departmental audits.
Payroll Processing
    • Process monthly payroll accurately and within timelines.
    • Ensure compliance with payroll-related statutory requirements.
    • Coordinate employee payroll queries and statutory deductions.
Financial Closing & Reporting
    • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
    • Prepare provisions, accruals, and reconciliation schedules.
    • Support preparation of management reports and MIS requirements.
    • Assist in budgeting and financial analysis as required.
Audit & Documentation
    • Prepare schedules and documentation for statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits.
    • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
    • Maintain organized financial records and supporting documents.
Process Improvement & Controls
    • Assist in implementing and strengthening financial controls and internal processes.
    • Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
Qualification & Experience
    • B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter.
    • 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, compliance, payroll, and finance operations.
    • Experience working with Tally ERP or similar accounting software.
