Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project accounting, particularly within consulting/contracting firms. They must demonstrate expertise in donor-funded project financing, contract bidding documentation, preparation of audited financial statements, and navigating statutory regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities would include your ability to; Manage project accounting for consulting/contracting firm projects. Draft comprehensive financing proposals for donor-funded projects. Prepare accurate and timely audited financial statements. Develop and submit contract bidding documentation in compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial processes align with regulatory requirements. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support organizational growth and compliance. Ensure the organization meets all statutory regulatory documentation requirements, including but not limited to: Tax Clearance Certificates PENCOM Compliance Certificates NSITF Compliance Certificates ITF Compliance Certificates PBE Certificates Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent). Proven experience in consulting/contracting firm project accounting. Strong understanding of donor-funded project financial management. Demonstrated experience in preparing contract bidding documentation. Proficiency in obtaining statutory regulatory documentation for bids. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Proficient in financial software and tools. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
