Financial Leader | US Homebuilding Company (100% Remote – LATAM)

Are you an experienced accounting professional looking to take the next step toward a leadership position?
We're looking for a Financial Leader with strong U.S. accounting experience who wants to become a key strategic partner to the company's founder and grow into a Controller / Head of Finance role as the business expands its residential homebuilding operations across Florida.

What you'll be responsible for
Lead accounting operations across multiple entities and residential construction projects.
Own month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
Track project costs, job profitability, construction budgets, and cash flow.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and intercompany transactions.
Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
Prepare management reports and lender reporting packages.
Partner with external CPA firms on tax and year-end processes.
Improve financial systems, reporting, and internal controls as the company grows.
We're looking for someone who has
Experience as a Senior Accountant, Financial Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar supporting U.S. companies.
Recent experience in homebuilding, residential construction, land development, or construction accounting.
Strong knowledge of job costing and project-based accounting.
Experience managing multiple legal entities and intercompany transactions.
Advanced QuickBooks experience (required).
Strong understanding of U.S. accounting principles and month-end close.
Advanced Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Professional English communication skills.
