Link’s 10-week paid summer internship program helps students gain valuable experience and develop business skills while learning the basics of logistics real estate. Link is looking for actively enrolled juniors (rising seniors) who would be interested in gaining hands-on experience with institutional real estate finance at portfolio scale. You will support forecasting, performance analysis, and executive reporting while learning how a large finance organization uses modern data, BI, and AI-enabled workflows. You will work alongside finance leadership and cross-functional partners in capital markets, asset management, property management, and leasing, contributing to recurring reporting and the reforecast process.
What You’ll Do:
Support portfolio NOI reporting, reforecasting, and budget-versus-actual variance analysis
Track occupancy, leasing performance, and other key real estate operating metrics
Partner cross functionally with Capital Markets on reporting initiatives and ad hoc analysis
Help build automated reporting pipelines, dashboards, and AI-enabled FP&A workflows and insights
Maintain, refine, and improve Excel forecasting models and recurring analytical workbooks
Contribute to monthly business reviews, market-level reporting, and executive-ready deliverables
Communicate findings through Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI dashboards, and concise written summaries
Partner cross-functionally with asset management, property management, leasing, and finance teams to support operating assumptions and business insights
What You Will Bring:
Current junior (rising senior) undergraduate student at an accredited four-year institution
Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
Strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and basic financial modeling; comfortable working in complex workbooks
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Basic understanding of real estate investment and finance concepts, including market analysis, financial analysis, property valuation, capital markets, NOI, occupancy, and leasing metrics
Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL, or similar analytical and visualization tools preferred
Experience using AI tools thoughtfully in an analytical workflow preferred
Strong interest in commercial real estate asset management, investment, and financial planning and analysis; no formal real estate experience required
$30/hour represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
