JOB DESCRIPTION:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate with and listen to drivers on a daily basis regarding work schedule, deliveries, customer information, strategic initiatives, policy changes, safety, load quality, and customer service.
- Promote safety and ensure a safe work environment and safe employee work & driving habits.
- Transportation planning and execution of outbound/inbound shipments by utilizing standard processes and logistics software/technology.
- Manage the cost-effective routing of inbound/outbound shipments by ensuring parameters and strategies within TMS are accurate.
- Develop a high-performance work team with high levels of employee engagement, morale, satisfaction, and performance. Provide coaching and performance communication to support development.
- Communicate with your immediate manager, other supervisors, and appropriate personnel regarding facility, equipment, safety, environmental, work schedules, company policies and practices, performance improvement plans, etc.
- Support employees in understanding company policies and practices.
- Create and maintain a respectful work environment by listening, seeking facts to support decisions, managing one’s own reactions, and addressing unacceptable behavior.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred
- 4+ years of supervisory experience
- Previous experience in a logistics operation or supervising a fleet of drivers
- Demonstrated ability to work with and motivate people
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and working knowledge of a work management system (WMS)
- Knowledge of technical aspects of transportation planning, commercial motor vehicle driver and equipment management
- Ability to travel
PAY RANGE:
$78,824.00 - $122,176.00

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
