The team that you will work is responsible to ensure that the Amazon Private Brand products have been tested in certified laboratories and that you will comply with the legal requirements of target selling market place, and conduct post-launch audit of Private Brand Products following product compliance requirement.
Key job responsibilities
Eligibility Criteria:
• Experiences in in food retail, CPG manufacturing, or product safety and quality OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Deep knowledge of FDA regulations applicable to Dietary Supplements (21 CFR Part 111 – cGMP), OTC Drug products (21 CFR Parts 210/211), and Cosmetics/Bodycare (MoCRA, 21 CFR Part 700 series)
• Familiarity with third-party certification programs such as GRMA, NSF, USP, UL, or NPA for Dietary Supplements, and ISO 22716 (GMP for Cosmetics)
• Experience interpreting and applying FDA warning letters, import alerts, and enforcement actions relevant to Dietary Supplements, OTC Drugs, or Cosmetics/Bodycare
• Experience in operations, investigations, risk management, incident or crisis management, or handling escalations
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and implement regulatory updates across multiple jurisdictions
• Strong planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills; Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet concurrent deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ambiguity
• Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written) with vendor, client, or customer-facing experience
• - Familiarity with labeling requirements under DSHEA, OTC Drug monograph system, and FDA cosmetic labeling regulations
• Experience conducting or managing supplier/facility audits and GMP compliance reviews for regulated product manufacturers
• Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing validation principles, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) for equipment, utilities, and manufacturing processes used in OTC Drug production
• Familiarity with process validation lifecycle (Stage 1: Process Design; Stage 2: Process Qualification; Stage 3: Continued Process Verification) as outlined in FDA’s 2011 Process Validation Guidance
• Experience conducting or managing supplier/facility audits and GMP compliance reviews for regulated product manufacturers

The Operational Risk Compliance (ORC) organization exists to keep our customers and partners safe, protect associates, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance. We coordinate the aspects of product transactions that are regulated (distribution, shipping, sale, and import/export). Global Solutions and Risk Compliance (GSRC) is the operational arm of the ORC organization. This involves analyzing product import documentation and flagging hazardous risks. We are also responsible for keeping Amazon customers safe and informed by coordinating actions around worldwide program teams to classify products and ensure Amazon’s product listings follow regulatory and legal compliance guidelines. These actions include removing products from the site and from our warehouses, and contacting customers with pertinent sustainability information. The ORC team partners with GSRC supports regulatory compliance requirements for Amazon’s worldwide programs such as Dangerous Goods, Chemical Safety Compliance, Global Trade Services, Transport Risk Compliance, Sustainability, Extended Producer Responsibility and Food Safety. GSRC has offices across India, China, Poland, Romania, Jordan, Philippines and Costa Rica and supports compliance related needs for worldwide Amazon marketplaces.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Food Safety or an equivalent domain.
- Serve as subject matter expert in compliance regulations for Food products, across WW marketplaces.
- Analyze the regulatory requirements: Assess business impact of new regulations in each regions, evaluate product category applicability and technical compliance requirements
- Execute regulatory implementation: Deploy new regulations and policies following established change management logic and operational protocols
- Being the backline to Handle compliance crisis or escalations
- Understand the business and identify potential areas of improvement from a technical perspective or regulatory risk
- Communicate precisely communication between vendors and stakeholders and provide support timely and correctly

- Experience with natural and organic foods
- Experience with Perishables (produce, meat, seafood)
- Sensory evaluation experience and skills
- Experience with product specification databases
- Experience with production facility auditing
