Essential Job Functions Position: Food Storeroom Attendant Department: Purchasing Updated: 3/2014 Primary Responsibilities: · Unloading of trucks, filling of orders, cleaning Secondary Responsibilities: · Keeping log of items we are out of, damaged, or perishable · Receive, sort, place received food items in proper storage · Weigh/count items disbursed · Fill out proper paper work and answer the phone. · Physical Inventory · Posting requisitions in computer system In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria in addition to the Ten Essential Attributes for All Employees. Past Work Experience Requirements: · Helpful if experienced in a fast paced warehouse situation with knowledge of foods Educational Requirements: · High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred Communication Skills Requirements: · Communicate with internal and external customers (guests, owners, employees, and vendors) · Good telephone skills · Must be able to read and comprehend Technical Requirements: · Basic Math skills · Health Department Food Handlers Class completed · Operating pallet jack – Certification class will be provided if not currently certified by The Greenbrier’s training program · Basic computer skills – Training will be provided on software operation Computer Experience N/A Software Level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) Word Processing Spreadsheet Database Programming Calendars Internet Hardware Installation Physical Requirements: Location of Work Yes Yes X Indoors Heated X Outdoors X Below Ground Temp.
