MTU provides maintenance from targeted hospital visits to complete overhauls on over 30+ commercial aero engine and industrial gas turbine lines and has completed more than 18,000 shop visits for over 1,400 customers worldwide.  Within this Global network, MTU Maintenance Dallas provides hospital shop and on-site maintenance services.   

The Logistics Analyst is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the movement of goods and materials within a company. This includes tasks such as analyzing data to track and improve transportation efficiency, managing relationships with vendors and negotiating contracts, monitoring the flow of goods, and collaborating with different teams to ensure smooth operations.

Your tasks

• KPI development, analysis and reporting, including automated daily reporting as well as presentations for Senior Management
• Freight lane and data analysis
• Freight vendor management, including data collection analysis and definition of key strategies
• Negotiate freight contracts based on data insights
• Freight monitoring, customs clearance and expediting of urgent packages
• Close collaboration with our purchasing teams to improve the freight vendor setups and performance
• Data driven process analysis and improvement, updating of process description's, work instructions and operating procedures
• Support with SAP based inventory analysis and trends 
• Support front line leadership in Management with data analytics and reporting 

Your profile

• Advanced Tableau and Excel skills
• Advanced skills in data analysis, visualization and interpretations
• Understanding of freight contacts or ability to learn quickly 
• Advanced knowledge of SAP system and data reports 
• Professional
• Self starter and motivated
• Able to work independently
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
