About the Role
Aivar is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) – Healthcare RCM to act as our embedded domain expert within large ISV and Enterprise Healthcare RCM accounts. The role is split evenly between presales-style opportunity creation — surfacing use cases and running rapid AI prototypes with our AI/ML engineers to win new scope — and delivery enablement — helping our engineers correctly translate RCM domain logic into production workflow automations on Velogent, our Enterprise Agentic Workflow Automation Platform.
What You'll Do

- Embed with customer product, ops, and business teams to uncover both stated and unspoken RCM pain points across eligibility, prior auth, coding, claims, denials, AR, and patient billing.
- Partner with AI/ML Engineers to rapidly prototype AI solutions against real workflows, validating domain accuracy and compliance (HIPAA, payer rules) before customer review.
- Demo prototypes directly to customer stakeholders to build credibility and convert them into expanded scope and new opportunities.
| Feed structured account insights back to Presales and Leadership to shape the opportunity pipeline. |
- Work with Delivery teams building automations on Velogent, decomposing RCM business rules and exceptions into clear, buildable workflow specs.
- Act as the domain QA gate on workflows pre-launch, ensuring they hold up against real-world edge cases, not just the happy path.
- Support scoping and effort estimation by flagging domain complexity early.

What We're Looking For
Experience & Domain Expertise
- 8–10+ years total experience, with a minimum of 5 years working directly in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (payer, provider, RCM ISV, or RCM BPO/consulting).
- Deep, practitioner-level command of the RCM lifecycle — eligibility, prior auth, coding basics (CPT/ICD/HCPCS), claims submission/adjudication, denials management, AR follow-up, and patient billing.
- Proven track record working directly with enterprise/ISV customers in a forward-deployed, solutions engineering, or domain consulting capacity.
AI/ML Exposure
- Working familiarity with AI/ML concepts and modern LLM solutioning (agents, copilots, RAG, workflow automation) — enough to partner credibly with engineers. Deep ML expertise is not required.
Skills & Attributes
- Sharp stakeholder communication — equally comfortable in customer discovery sessions and leadership demos.
- Strong requirements-decomposition skills — able to turn ambiguous domain conversations into crisp, buildable specs.
- High comfort with ambiguity and a fast, iterative, prototype-then-refine working style.
- Prior exposure to workflow automation, RPA, BPM, or agentic platforms is a plus.
