About this role

What We Do

Rillet serves accounting and finance teams—the financial brains of their companies. Our job is to help them run the numbers with impossible speed, accuracy, and insight.

Rillet is the AI-native ERP that middle-market and enterprise companies trust for revenue recognition, multi-entity consolidation, and investor reporting. To enable real-time finance and a continuous close, Rillet rebuilt the general ledger from the ground up for the AI era. Rillet serves companies from Series A through the public markets, including Mercor, Scribe, and Function Health, and is a certified partner of top accounting firms like EY and KPMG.

This huge market is ours to take. We have raised $100M+ from leading investors, including Sequoia, a16z, Iconiq, Oak HC/FT, and First Round, to help everyone run their numbers at the speed of AI.

Who We Are

Rillet’s pace is not for everyone. Intelligence is table stakes. To succeed here, you need extreme speed, agency, and flexibility.

The people who thrive at Rillet do not wait for assignments. They internalize the mission, design a strategy, and bring back results that are better, faster, and more creative than a manager could have asked for.

Our work revolves around our customers. The people who succeed here are energized by delivering what matters most, even when it was not part of the original plan.

Rillet is built on deep accounting expertise, and it takes people from many disciplines to build a category-defining company. You do not need to be an accountant to thrive here. You do need to care deeply about the problems we solve and the impact our customers can create. Together, we combine the precision of accounting with the speed, creativity, and ambition of AI-native software to power the financial core of the world’s fastest-growing companies while redefining what finance teams should expect from their software.

Who We Need

Rillet is looking for a Founders' Associate to work directly with the CEO and Chief of Staff. You will be the connective tissue that keeps high-priority work moving — spotting roadblocks early, solving them before they escalate, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

You will operate across a wide range of workstreams simultaneously, supporting the Chief of Staff with analytical horsepower on strategic projects, helping design and improve internal processes, and supporting the CEO day-to-day from drafting communications to making sure key initiatives reach completion.

You will need to be highly organized and comfortable with frequent context switching. One hour you're in a spreadsheet modeling a business case. The next you're drafting a note on behalf of the CEO. The next you're figuring out why a cross-functional project stalled and fixing it.

This is a high-output role. You will work hard, move fast, and be held to a high bar. In return, you will get unparalleled exposure, accelerated growth, and a front-row seat to building a company.

We’re looking for teammates who are based near our San Francisco office, or open to relocating. Our hybrid schedule brings the team together in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one additional flexible day each week. Some roles may spend more time in the office depending on the needs of the team.

What You'll Do

  • Own Claude at Rillet – become our internal Claude expert. You will build and deploy AI automations and workflows using Claude, starting with the CEO and Chief of Staff, and rolling them out across the organization. You will be the go-to-person for Claude-related questions, best practices, and capabilities.

  • Track progress on key initiatives on behalf of the CEO – proactively flagging risks, identifying roadblocks early, and ensuring the right people are unblocked and moving forward

  • Prepare internal and external communications on behalf of the founders, including investor updates and board materials

  • Apply analytical horsepower across all functions to generate insights that drive decisions – whether that's modeling sales efficiency in GTM, analyzing retention trends in Customer Experience, building headcount plans in HR, or stress-testing unit economics in Finance

  • Run operational processes across internal ops functions

  • Project-manage initiatives that span multiple stakeholders and require strong follow-through

  • Serve as a connective layer across the organization — making sure decisions get made and nothing falls through the cracks

Who We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a BizOps / strategy role at a high-growth startup

  • Proficient with Claude, you have used it extensively and know how to get the most out of it

  • A track record of delivering in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with minimal hand-holding

  • Executional by nature

  • Strong analytical skills: comfortable building models, interpreting data, and turning insights into action

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication: you can draft a crisp investor update and a clear internal Slack message with equal ease

  • Highly organized with sharp attention to detail, even when juggling multiple workstreams

  • Low ego, high ownership

  • Willingness to travel a few times per year for team offsites and company events

Life at Rillet

  • Grow with us. Take meaningful ownership, expand your scope, and make an impact as Rillet scales.

  • Competitive pay and meaningful equity. Be rewarded for the value you help create.

  • Benefits that support you. We offer medical and dental coverage, including up to 100% of employee premiums and 90% of dependent premiums, along with a 401(k), flexible PTO, nine company-wide holidays, and paid parental leave for eligible employees.

  • Better together. We’re hybrid-first, with teams centered in New York City and San Francisco, as well as select remote roles. Our offices are stocked with snacks, we regularly provide lunch and dinner, and we make time to connect as a team.
