FreeSwitch Developer

🔹 Role Overview:

You will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining VoIP-based solutions

using FreeSWITCH, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of real-time

communication systems.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain VoIP applications using FreeSWITCH

• Design and implement call routing, IVR, and dialplan logic

• Integrate FreeSWITCH with backend systems and APIs

• Work with SIP, RTP, and WebRTC protocols

• Troubleshoot and resolve call quality and performance issues

• Optimize system performance for scalability and low latency

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product enhancements

🔹 Required Skills:

• Strong experience with FreeSWITCH architecture and modules

• Good understanding of SIP, RTP, WebRTC, and VoIP fundamentals

• Experience in Lua / C / JavaScript (any one or more)

• Knowledge of Linux environments and networking concepts

• Hands-on experience with call flows, IVR, and conferencing systems

• Experience with debugging tools like sngrep, Wireshark

🔹 Good to Have:

• Experience with CPaaS or telecom platforms

• Knowledge of Kamailio / Asterisk

• Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)

• Understanding of scalable distributed systems
