This is a full-stack engineering role at an early-stage enterprise AI SaaS startup, where you'll have meaningful ownership over features from conception through production. You'll work across the full stack — backend APIs, database layers, and frontend — helping shape both the product and the technical architecture of a platform used for company-wide AI adoption.
Design and implement robust backend systems and APIs to power an enterprise AI platform.
Build end-to-end solutions spanning backend (Node.js), database layers, and frontend integration.
Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models for performance and scalability.
Implement API endpoints and integrate with third-party services and AI providers.
Collaborate on technical architecture decisions and system design across the engineering team.
Maintain and optimize the codebase for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Participate in support engineer rotations, shifting focus periodically to assist customers and the customer support team.
3+ years of full-stack web development experience.
Strong proficiency in Node.js, React/Next.js, and TypeScript.
Solid experience with PostgreSQL and SQL — data modeling, querying, and optimization.
Comfort using Tailwind CSS for frontend styling and implementation.
Track record of owning features end-to-end in production environments.
Experience building AI-powered features or integrating AI/ML services into applications.
Strong CS fundamentals and system design sensibility.
Clear communication and collaboration skills with product and cross-functional stakeholders.
Willingness to participate in regular customer-facing support rotations.
Salary range: €66,000 – €120,000 per year. Visa sponsorship is available for candidates relocating to Berlin.
On-site in Berlin, Germany. This is a full-time, in-office role.
