Student: 1 adult
Location: Lessons are to be held at - or near - the student's home close to Wollerau, Chüngentobel (Bus station), Bäch SZ. The student is also willing to travel to Zürich, if needed.
Details
Availability: Preferably Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays
Lesson Frequency: Once a week
Lesson Duration: 90 minutes per session
Current language level: Intermediate (She took lessons 35 years ago; initial assessment is needed to design the training)
Native and other spoken languages: French (native), Dutch (intermediate), English (fluent), Spanish (intermediate), Chinese (intermediate), Japanese (intermediate)
Student's language needs and goals: Everyday communication; understanding Swiss culture; learning more about geography, outdoor activities, Swiss art and history. Showing respect and integrating into Switzerland.
Responsibilities
Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications
To have native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the German language
To have a degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field
To have a minimum of two years of teaching experience
