Job Description

BwB is looking to partner with two GHG and decarbonisation experts or organisations to support an upcoming assignment on Climate Action and Sustainability for Corporates. This engagement runs over 36 months from October 2026. Further details on expected availability will be shared with shortlisted applicants.

Qualifications

Each expert should have:

  • A university degree, or equivalent professional qualification, in engineering, environmental science, climate change or an equivalent field
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in advisory and/or research related to climate change, energy or sustainability
  • At least 4 years of that in carbon footprinting, GHG accounting and emission reduction measures
  • Experience with the development of decarbonisation plans (including target setting), the review of GHG inventories or the technical assessment of emission reduction investments, demonstrated by involvement in at least 5 relevant projects

Desirable

  • Knowledge of relevant international climate standards and methodologies such as the GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard, the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) or the Transition Pathway Initiative (TPI), demonstrated by at least 1 relevant project
  • Experience of technical assistance or project development assistance assignments with EU institutions in the last 5 years
