Job Overview

The Global Analytics Associate Manager will perform data analysis leveraging IQVIA Connected Intelligence™ Real-World Data and clinical data assets for multiple Research & Development projects. This position is an individual contributor role, working closely with our team of Therapeutic Analytic Leads and other key stakeholders to support development of clinical trial strategies. The Global Analytics Associate Manager will inform quality decision making at the indication, program, and study level, with potential for additional opportunities impacting automation and innovation goals.

Essential Functions

• Utilize the IQVIA Connected-intelligence data sets and resources to define and enhance clinical trial strategy, both pre- and post-award
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to align on requirements, capabilities, and delivery of data analytics
• Drive the methodology and implementation of data analytics deliverables, including country evaluation and ranking, competitive landscape assessment, historical recruitment analysis, patient density analytics, and the generation of tiered site lists
• Coordinate the collection of site outreach data to support development of the country/site strategy
• Potential to manage country-specific data assets through collaboration with local teams, promote innovation, and participate in ongoing training and knowledge sharing
• Undertake therapeutic training to enable accurate data interpretation and delivery of relevant insights

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Biological/Life Sciences, or a related quantitative/technical field (such as Biotechnology/Bioengineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Statistics).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics, clinical research, or consulting in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries

• Hands-on experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, R, Spark/PySpark) and relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) is a plus

Advanced level of English is mandatory, you will be working with a global team.
• General knowledge of clinical trial terminology and drug development processes
• Experience working with global teams is preferred
• Experience leveraging business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus
• Experience working with large volumes of electronic data, such as medical claims, sales, prescriptions, electronic medical records/electronic health records, or similar is a plus

Skills
• Proficiency using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Logical approach to problem solving and task prioritization
• Ability to acquire new skills and evolve to new systems
• Excellent communication (verbal and written English) and ability to interact with dynamic, global teams
• Strong attention to detail
