In this highly visible global role, you will own and grow the global installation tooling portfolio through application expertise, strategic portfolio management, supplier collaboration and innovation, ensuring GF remains the preferred partner for complete piping system solutions. Global Product Manager - Installation Tools & Applications (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
Define and execute the global product strategy and roadmap for the installation tooling portfolio, aligned with business objectives and growth targets
Operate as the business owner of the global tooling portfolio, independently identifying opportunities, challenging existing assumptions and driving strategic initiatives that support profitable growth
Identify growth opportunities through customer, market, competitor, and application analysis, translating insights into compelling product solutions
Drive innovation, product improvements, and cost optimization initiatives to enhance customer value, profitability, and market competitiveness
Act as the global application expert for installation tools and installation processes, understanding customer workflows, installer requirements and application challenges across infrastructure and industrial markets
Collaborate closely with R&D, engineering, marketing, operations, quality, and external suppliers to develop and deliver market-leading solutions
Monitor product performance, pricing, and profitability, while representing GF at customer visits, industry events, and strategic growth initiatives
Your profile:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Business Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical or business-related field
At least 4 - 6 years of extensive experience in Product Management, Portfolio Management, or Business Development
Professional experience in a B2B industrial environment, ideally with a manufacturer of complex technical products
Proven track record in product strategy, roadmap development, lifecycle management, product launches, and portfolio optimization
Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, profitability analysis, business case development, and value-based positioning
Ability to translate customer needs, market trends, and technical requirements into successful product solutions
Proactive and hands-on personality with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Fluent in English and German is an absolute must
Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 25%)
