Job Description
Role Summary
Reporting to the Deputy CEO, the Head, Strategic Value Creation will be responsible for identifying, structuring, and driving enterprise value opportunities across Capital A and its subsidiaries. This role is purely focused on value creation, leveraging strong strategy and finance expertise to unlock synergies, optimise capital deployment, and enhance overall group valuation.
Key Responsibilities
Ecosystem Value Creation
- Identify and unlock cross-subsidiary value creation opportunities across the Capital A ecosystem
- Map and analyse interdependencies between businesses to surface synergy potential
- Translate ecosystem insights into clear value levers (revenue, cost, capital efficiency)
Strategic & Financial Analysis
- Apply strong financial modelling and strategic analysis to evaluate value creation opportunities
- Assess business models, unit economics, and cost structures to identify areas of optimisation and upside
- Quantify impact of initiatives in terms of valuation, profitability, and ROI
Capital Allocation & Portfolio Thinking
- Support evaluation of capital deployment opportunities across subsidiaries
- Provide structured recommendations on where to invest, scale, or optimise for maximum group value
- Analyse portfolio-level trade-offs to improve overall group return on capital
Value Unlocking Initiatives
- Structure and evaluate strategic initiatives that create measurable enterprise value
- Partner with leadership to shape high-impact value creation programs
- Identify opportunities for:
- Revenue synergies
- Cost rationalisation
- Asset utilisation improvement
- Platform and ecosystem monetisation
Executive Advisory
- Act as a trusted value creation advisor to the Deputy CEO
- Prepare high-quality insights, analysis, and recommendations for Board and executive discussions
- Provide clear, data-driven perspectives on strategic decisions impacting group valuation
Requirements
- At least 15 years of experience in strategy, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, consulting, or equivalent roles
- Strong track record in financial analysis, valuation, or strategic value creation work
- Experience working across multi-business or platform/ecosystem environments preferred
- Exposure to high-growth or digital-led businesses is an advantage
