About the Role

As a Heavy Diesel Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our customers’ trucks and commercial vehicles running safely and efficiently. Working in our well-equipped modern Hamilton workshop, you’ll diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and complete servicing across a range of heavy diesel vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair faults across diesel engines and vehicle systems

  • Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems

  • Complete job documentation and maintain accurate service records

  • Communicate with Service Advisors and customers regarding repairs

  • Maintain a safe, clean and efficient workshop environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Heavy Diesel / Automotive Technician

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working with diesel engines or heavy vehicles

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

  • Class 2 licence ideally (Class 5 support available)

  • High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Commitment to safety and workshop best practices
