Right at Home is seeking an experienced Care Supervisor to join our growing team, supporting the delivery of high-quality home care services across CHO5 Gorey and surrounding areas.
This is a hands-on community-based role for someone with strong experience in home care, healthcare or social care who enjoys supporting care teams, maintaining high standards and building strong relationships with clients, families and colleagues.
€34,000–€36,000 per annum, depending on experience

As Care Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring our clients receive safe, consistent and person-centred care while providing ongoing support to our care teams working in the community.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the day-to-day delivery of home care services across the CHO8 region
Providing ongoing support, guidance and mentoring to Healthcare Assistants
Completing new client assessments and ongoing care reviews
Carrying out carer spot checks, supervisions and competency reviews
Completing risk assessments and supporting the development and review of care plans
Monitoring the quality and consistency of care being delivered in clients' homes
Identifying training, development and performance support needs within the care team
Building positive relationships with clients, families and care staff
Identifying and escalating safeguarding, quality or service concerns appropriately
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring required documentation is completed
Working closely with the coordination, recruitment, quality and operations teams
Supporting compliance with HSE requirements, Right at Home policies and relevant regulatory standards
Travelling throughout your designated CHO8 area to meet clients and care staff as required
The ideal candidate will have:
3–5 years’ experience within home care, healthcare or social care, ideally including supervisory responsibilities
A minimum Level 6 qualification or above in Health, Social Care, Management or a related discipline
Strong leadership and people-management skills
Experience supporting, coaching or mentoring care staff
Experience completing client assessments, care reviews, spot checks or quality audits
Good knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and quality standards within home care services
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Confidence working independently in the community while remaining part of a wider team
Strong IT and administrative skills
A full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
Full right to work in Ireland
Experience working within HSE-funded home support services and knowledge of relevant HSE and HIQA standards would be a strong advantage.

Successful candidates will be required to complete Right at Home's pre-employment compliance process. This may include reference checks, verification of qualifications, proof of right to work in Ireland, driving documentation and Garda Vetting where applicable.
