About this role

The Experience Senior Living Team is comprised of dynamic professionals that are fueled by their passion to empower people as they grow older to live life to the fullest. They are creators, architects, nurses, researchers, programmers, marketers, facilitators, developers, investors, and caregivers, all focused on making a positive impact on the lives of residents, their families and team members.

We are looking for a HOSTESS/HOST to join our amazing team!

We are looking for Full-Time and Part-Time shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high level of customer service and promote a fine dining atmosphere.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.
  • Make and manage the seating charts with sections for the servers.
  • Review daily menus and specials with residents.
  • Takes and delivers accurate meal orders to residents and guests.
  • Help remove used or soiled plates, utensils, glasses, linen from the dining room as needed.
  • Assist in resetting the dining room.
  • Adhere to Quality Enhancement standards and standard food safety practices.
  • Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
  • When applicable, acquaint new residents with menus, seating, and dining options.
  • Ensure servers have completed their side duties before letting them go.
  • Ensure the next day’s menus are printed and ready.
  • Create a strong sense of teamwork and cooperation among all staff.
  • Attending Pre-Meal stand up held for all dining and kitchen staff.
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Able to resolve problems of dissatisfied customers and/or team members.
  • Connect and help residents transition from home to community through thoughtful engagement at every level of interaction.
  • Able to build positive and strong relationships with employees, coworkers and residents.
  • Focused and dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
  • Able to handle multiple jobs and priorities.
  • Able to delegate and hold staff accountable efficiently and respectfully.
  • Must abide by Company uniform policy.
  • Ability to work varied schedules to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Benefits

We offer a full benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, life and voluntary life, 401k with employer matching, paid holidays, and up to 20 days PTO in the first three years.

Compensation: $18-$19.00/hr
