As a Hotel Services Assistant (Housekeeping) you will be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team that is committed to creating a welcoming, professional and caring environment for the residents of St Vincent’s Care, Carseldine. Carseldine (historically known as Holy Spirit Home) our 189-bed facility offers residents a supportive and welcoming environment, with Residential Living aged care, Independent Living and Community Living services all available at the same location.  Our commitment is to listen to each resident, understand who each person is - a unique individual who we respect and treat with kindness and compassion.

Things that work for us: 

  • Experience in an aged care facility or hospital environment providing services that support high-quality cleaning outcomes for residents, customers and staff of the Facility, including cleaning, laundry and food services 

  • Permanent part-time availability (mainly weekdays)

  • High level of customer service skills 

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills 

  • Ability to follow directives as per care plan 

  • Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities 

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
