HR Manager - Manufacturing

Our client, a leading global company in the advanced medical manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the site's human resources strategy and operations.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in establishing a new manufacturing facility while partnering with regional and global leaders to shape culture, attract top talent, and support business growth across Latin America.

What You'll Do

• Lead the HR strategy and day-to-day operations for a new manufacturing site in Cartago.
• Build and scale HR processes, policies, and systems aligned with business objectives.
• Lead high-volume recruitment initiatives to support rapid workforce growth.
• Partner with leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, and employee development.
• Drive employee engagement, culture, and retention initiatives.
• Provide expert guidance on employee relations, labor compliance, and HR best practices.
• Collaborate with regional and global HR teams on strategic talent initiatives across the Americas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within manufacturing, medical devices, or other industrial environments.
• Experience supporting talent acquisition, employee relations, HR operations, and organizational development.
• Strong knowledge of Costa Rican labor legislation.
• Experience implementing HR systems, payroll, or HR infrastructure is highly valued.
• Proven ability to influence leaders, manage change, and work effectively in a dynamic, evolving environment.
• English proficiency required.
