HR Project Management and Governance (HR PMO)

Help drive the successful delivery of our global HR agenda. As our HR Project Management and Governance professional, you will act as the governance, execution and transformation backbone of the HR function, bringing structure, visibility and discipline to key HR initiatives, leadership routines and strategic priorities. Working closely with HR leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, you will help ensure decisions translate into action, risks and dependencies are actively managed, and strategic initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes.

What you will be doing

  • Coordinate HR governance activities, including HR leadership meetings, governance forums, workshops, HR seminars and the annual governance calendar.

  • Maintain oversight of the HR project and transformation portfolio, tracking milestones, deliverables, ownership, risks, dependencies and escalation points.

  • Support CHRO on executive presentations, governance packs, reports and committee materials to support effective decision-making by HR leadership, the Executive Management Team and other relevant forums.

  • Monitor HR performance metrics, dashboards and project progress, highlighting achievements, risks, trends and areas requiring intervention.

  • Track actions, decisions, issues and commitments across the HR function, ensuring accountability and timely follow-up.

  • Support the implementation of HR initiatives by coordinating change and adoption activities, monitoring organisational readiness and helping ensure changes are embedded and sustained.

  • Partner with teams across HR, including HR Business, Centres of Expertise, HR Operations and Social Relations, to align priorities, timelines, resources and interdependencies.

  • Support governance assurance activities, including audit, compliance or review follow-up requiring HR coordination and documentation.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of governance processes, project management practices and ways of working across the HR function.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience coordinating projects, programmes or business initiatives within a complex or international environment.

  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities may evolve.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence working across different functions and levels of the organisation.

  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret information, identify risks and provide practical recommendations.

  • Experience preparing presentations, reports or dashboards for leadership teams or senior stakeholders.

  • A collaborative, proactive and solution-oriented approach, with a focus on delivering results and driving continuous improvement.

  • A degree in Business, Human Resources, Project Management or a related discipline is an advantage. Experience in HR, transformation, consulting or project management environments is beneficial but not essential.
