The Human Capital Business Partner will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to our offshore workforce, ensuring effective people management throughout the employee lifecycle. The role will act as a key HR point of contact for offshore employees, OIMs, Superintendents, Line and Asset Managers, supporting all HR-related activities associated with the offshore team, including crew planning, training, vacations, medical examinations, employee documentation, compensation processes, recruitment, performance management, and other HR activities.
Responsibilities:
- Coordination of Crew Planning (Crew Change);
- Responsible for planning training, vacations, and medical exams for the offshore team (Brazilians and expatriates);
- Analysis and elaboration of monthly control of payments of offshore employees (timesheets, overtime, daily training, and difference in function);
- Support with coordination of activities related to Recruitment and Selection, Promotion, Salary Review, Performance Appraisal, and Visa Process for the offshore team;
- Coordination of crew documents with the requirements of the company, the customer, Brazilian legislation, and the unit's flag;
- Coordination of offshore personnel logistics;
- HR Focal Point for OIM, Superintendents and offshore employees, and legal representatives of the company in legal matters;
- Close cooperation with the respective Manning Offices and Manpower Companies to ensure quality and consistent deliveries to offshore personnel management, with relevant policies and procedures;
- Monitor training according to the applicable training matrices, and coordinate training for assigned personnel;
- Support Line and Asset Managers regarding Brazilian Labor Legislation peculiarities as well as requirements from other institutions such as the Brazilian Navy, and Ministry of Labor;
- Ensure full awareness of rules and regulations applicable in the assigned unit, as well as take responsibility for ensuring compliance with certificates and competencies
- Responsible for Management of change and Risk Assessment for personnel changes;
- Support Regional HR Manager with offshore matters;
- Support with various Fleet & Office activities; Help shape a healthy corporate culture and ensure that all systems, policies, and practices in the company is consistent with the desired culture;
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree - Business Administration or other related areas
Experience:
- Experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in offshore operations
- Experience in Human Resources
- Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry
Knowledge:
- Good understanding of Human Resources Information Systems;
- Broad knowledge of key Human Resources functions, including recruitment, compensation & benefits, training and development, and performance management;
- Good understanding of competence requirements within the Oil & Gas industry;
- Good understanding of regulatory training requirements for offshore personnel;
