Kepak is a global food company serving international retailers and food service household names with prime cuts of meat, on-trend food concepts and ready-for-market convenience foods. 

 Kepak St. Merryn in Bodmin is a beef processing facility. We offer beef products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers’ counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service; raised on open pastures, sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers, we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance. 

We are currently looking for Hygiene Operatives to join our Night Team . This is a full time, permanent position starting at 6.00pm on £14.80 per hour.

Your own transport is required due to our location and the times of Public transport links to Bodmin

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all areas of the factory are clean and tidy, meeting health and safety standards.
  • Dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Sweep and wash floors.
  • Adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) policies.
  • Follow health and safety procedures and policies.
  • Pre-wash down areas including floors, walls, belts, and machinery as required.
  • Operate tray wash equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team leaders.
  • Deep clean machinery including belts, framework, walls, floors, ceilings, and lights.
  • Follow cleaning instruction cards according to the area.
