Jaipur Plant is the fourth manufacturing Plant, set-up in India in the year 1999. We are a Powertrain Solutions (PS) Plant which is known for it's operational excellence. Our safety standards are a benchmark across RO-IN, which has won us several awards & accolades by Govt. of Rajasthan. We are a Lead Plant for two products, namely; VE Pump (Diesel Fuel Injection Pump) and Nozzle Holder Assembly (both are diesel intrinsic components).

Key Responsibility
1. Process Developments / Improvement
Design, create, optimize new processes or improve existing processes to increase operational excellence.
Coordinate with CFT for Trials, Evaluations and Process releases.
Support and lead Technology Upgrade projects.
2. New / Used MAE Try-Out and Process Establishment
Collaborate with stakeholders involved from the MAE enquiry phase to the final MAE release.
Ensure that the MAE meets the acceptance criteria.
Support VS for productionization of MAE for achieving the key KPIs.
Release MAE for series production with Process Data Sheet and commissioning report.
3. Competence Development (Grinding Technology)
Interaction with CoC leaders, OEMs,Exhibitions, Seminars, Industry experts for acquiring the knowledge
Support Competence development to WG members, FLMs, Planners and Associates for process improvements, current core and future core technologies.
4. Process Support / I4.0 Support
Support trouble shooting for process issues / technical breakdowns for business continuity.
Identify and implement projects in Digitalization and Emerging technologies.
Ensure stable processes w.r.t technology field in the value streams.
Support smart automation, I4.0 project implementation on MAEs.
Education:
BE Mechanical / Mechantronics / Electronics
Experience:
Minimum 5-8 years of experience
Knowledge:
* Hands on experience and in-depth knowledge @ level L3+, in minimum, of Grinding Process and technology
* Knowledge on Engg drawing, Engineering statistics (Machine & Process Capability), SPC, GD&T, MSA etc
* Knowledge on programming depending on specific technologies (CNC programming, Vision programming, Press programming, Screwer programming, Python, etc)
* Knowledge on CNC, basic PLC systems, Hydraulics and Pneumatics
* Knowledge on standard Digital solutions (MES, etc), Digital Competency (Power BI, Tableau, etc) and Emerging technologies (Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence)
Functional Skills:
* Networking, Communication and Collaboration,\*Process Audits (IATF, PS/QMM, etc),\*Usage of MS office tools
* Knowledge of various problem solving tools like Shainin, PSS, DOE, etc
* Lead a team of experts (Working group, CoC members, etc)
The purpose of this position is to collaborate with diverse teams, including engineering, value streams, development, quality etc. to develop, optimize, improve and implement manufacturing processes.
