  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic wiring, conduit, controls, and components using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

  • Identify malfunctioning systems and components, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions.

  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure electrical systems remain compliant and reliable.

  • Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to support continuous mining and processing activities.

  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision electrical testing instruments.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.

  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with rectifiers and medium- to high-voltage systems.

  • Familiarity with industrial electrical codes and standards beyond NEC and MSHA.

  • Ability to perform electrical repairs in remote, rugged, or outdoor environments.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk long distances over rough, uneven terrain and climb ladders and structures.

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.

  • Must wear and properly use required PPE, including hard hat, steel-toed footwear, safety glasses, high-visibility vest, hearing protection, respirator (as required), and protective clothing.

  • Ability to work in environments with potential exposure to dust, fumes, diesel exhaust, solvents, sulphuric acid, and other hazardous materials.
