About this role
This role will spearhead a series of monthly, industry-focused roundtable designed to strengthen ITP.NET’s authority across key sectors, deepen relationships with senior decision-makers, and drive integrated content and revenue opportunities. Working closely with the Group Editor, commercial director and events team, the Editor-at-Large will identify priority industries, curate high-level guest lists, moderate discussions where appropriate, and transform event insights into agenda-setting editorial packages (including special reports, power lists and multi-platform features). This is a strategic, relationship-led role suited to an experienced industry professional with a strong network and a clear understanding of how editorial initiatives support commercial growth. Requirements RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the development and execution of monthly industry-focused roundtable aligned with ITP.NET’s strategic vertical priorities. Identify and cultivate relationships with senior executives and decision-makers across target sectors. Curate and secure high-quality participants to ensure meaningful, insight-driven discussions. Work closely with the events team to ensure seamless execution of roundtable and associated initiatives. Collaborate with the editorial team to convert roundtable insights into special reports, power lists, digital features and print packages. Partner with the commercial team to align industry themes with revenue opportunities, ensuring strong sponsor integration without compromising editorial integrity. Help shape new vertical content strategies that strengthen ITP.NET’s positioning within priority sectors. Act as an ambassador for ITP.NET across the market, reinforcing its credibility and authority. Monitor industry trends and identify emerging sectors that present long-term growth opportunities. Ensure all output adheres to ITP’s editorial standards and regional regulatory guidelines. KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 8–12+ years’ experience in media, publishing, events or industry-focused communications. Strong existing network of senior-level industry contacts across the GCC and wider region. Commercially aware, with experience working alongside sales teams on revenue-generating initiatives. Proven ability to manage strategic projects from concept through to delivery. Strong interviewing and moderating skills. Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple work streams simultaneously. Strategic thinker with the ability to spot long-term growth opportunities. Fluent in English.
