Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is a key member of ZOLL’s Rescue Ready Services team, responsible for supporting customers throughout the lifecycle of their AED programs. This position serves as a trusted resource for end users, distribution partners, and internal sales teams by helping customers maintain compliant, prepared, and rescue-ready AED programs.
The ISR manages a high volume of inbound and outbound customer interactions, identifies and qualifies sales opportunities, supports service and product renewals, and provides the product and program expertise needed to advance opportunities through the sales process. Success in this role requires strong communication, organization, customer-service, and consultative-selling skills.
Essential Functions
- Manage relationships with assigned customers, distribution partners, ZOLL Channel Partner Managers, and other internal stakeholders.
- Conduct proactive outbound outreach to evaluate customer needs, identify program gaps, and uncover opportunities involving AEDs, accessories, service offerings, and program-management solutions.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound customer inquiries, leads, and requests for product or service information.
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities generated through marketing campaigns, customer outreach, product inquiries, service renewals, and other lead-generation activities.
- Educate customers on AED program readiness, product capabilities, service options, and the importance of maintaining current and properly supported equipment.
- Facilitate sales opportunities from initial discovery through quotation, follow-up, and order placement.
- Prepare accurate quotes and provide timely follow-up to customers and distribution partners.
- Support customer retention by proactively addressing upcoming renewals, expiring supplies, aging equipment, and other program needs.
- Maintain accurate and complete customer, activity, opportunity, and pipeline information within Salesforce and other applicable business systems.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within customer and distributor accounts.
- Collaborate with Sales, Channel Management, Client Services, Customer Service, Marketing, and other internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Participate in customer presentations, product demonstrations, sales webinars, and training sessions as needed.
- Analyze account information, reports, and sales data to identify trends, prioritize outreach, and support business growth.
- Consistently meet or exceed established activity, pipeline, customer-retention, and revenue objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree a plus, or at least three years of comparable professional experience.
- Zero to two years of inside sales, account management, customer service, lead development, or outbound calling experience required.
- Experience working in a high-volume, customer-facing environment preferred.
- Previous sales or consultative-selling training preferred.
- Experience supporting distributors, channel partners, or multi-location customer accounts is a plus.
- Experience using a customer relationship management platform, such as Salesforce, is preferred.
- Experience within the medical-device, healthcare, public-safety, or service-renewal industry is a plus.

The "at plan" compensation (Base Salary + Variable Incentive Compensation) for this position is:
$82,900.00 which includes a base salary of $52,000.00 and commission in accordance with the company's sales compensation plan.
