The Volunteer’s Role
Bring your expertise to Peru and help strengthen technical education for the next generation of students and skilled professionals.
As an Institutional and Pedagogical Strengthening Advisor, you will work alongside the “Carlos Cueto Fernandini” Public Institute of Higher Technological Education, a public institution serving more than 1,600 students. The institute is advancing an important modernization, quality assurance, and accreditation process, and your experience will help strengthen institutional management, improve teaching and learning practices, support internationalization, and build stronger links with the private sector.
This volunteer opportunity is ideal for a professional who wants to share practical knowledge, introduce international best practices, and support long-term improvements in technical education. Your contribution will help faculty, administrators, students, and graduates benefit from stronger systems, better learning experiences, and improved pathways to employment.

The volunteer will collaborate with the partner organization to strengthen capacity in institutional management, employability, research, and innovation. This includes supporting the development of management documents for licensing and positioning, reviewing academic program profiles and curricula, and helping design strategies to improve workplace culture, customer service, real-world training experiences (EFSRT), and the adoption of international best practices that support inclusive economic development for students and graduates.
