Institutional Equity Division, Manager , Futures Content NY
The Futures Content team is responsible for creating differentiated and value-added content and analyses around cross-asset futures markets, and engaging with institutional clients to drive Listed Derivatives revenues. We develop frameworks, rooted in a fundamental understanding of futures markets, to identify trading opportunities based on positioning, liquidity, and costs.

Global Markets Group is the offshoring arm of Morgan Stanley’s Sales & Trading businesses in India. It covers functions across IED and Fixed Income Division (FID) ranging from those associated with sales, trading, analytics, strats to risk management.
What you'll do in the role:
Working on Exploratory Data Analysis on historical time series data using Python (primary libraries: Pandas, Numpy, matplotlib, datetime).
Pulling various stats & creating content around several market metrics like returns, liquidity, open interest changes, volumes, etc.
Develop Analytics framework around options on futures datasets.
Scheduling and running Jupyter notebooks, VBA macros that pull in the latest data inputs, refresh calculations, apply the methodology and generate positioning & liquidity reports.
Automate processes through Python that can save time updating the futures model outputs.
Troubleshoot errors on Python/ VBA macros that may occur while working on different frameworks.
Working knowledge of Bloomberg.
What you'll bring to the role:
4-5 years of relevant working experience on Python, VBA and Excel
Engineering Degree from Tier2 colleges. Any progress towards CFA will be an added benefit
Mandatory knowledge of programming languages such as Python and VBA to work with financial data
Deep understanding of Derivatives & Futures market
Strong inter-personal / communication skills.
Strong attention to detail
Drive and desire to work in an intense team-oriented environment.
